Winter weather in North Carolina is not to be underestimated. Snow and ice are well within the realm of possibility once the temperature starts dropping in this area, and other drivers can be just as much of a hazard when the roads get slippery. Fortunately, Lincoln offers a robust selection of vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD) in its 2016 lineup.
Which 2016 Lincoln models are available with All-Wheel Drive (AWD)?
We’ve put together a set of handy tables that will give you an overview of each Lincoln model, the available powertrains on those models, and an indication of the MSRP and EPA estimated fuel economy of each vehicle. Note that the Navigator and Navigator L are available with 4-wheel drive. We’ll explain the difference between Lincoln’s Intelligent AWD and the Navigator’s 4WD system below.

The sedans and crossovers detailed above are available with Lincoln’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive platform. Intelligent AWD uses sensors to constantly monitor the vehicle’s traction, adjusting power and torque distribution between the wheels to give you enhanced control when you need it most.
The Navigator and Navigator L are available with Control Trac® 4-Wheel Drive. The key difference between 4WD and Intelligent AWD is that driver’s must select to put the car into 4WD mode. When selected, the system provides similar benefits and boosts to traction when road conditions are not ideal.
