When you walk into Leith Lincoln, you’re greeted with a level of professionalism and hospitality unmatched by any other dealership. Not only are you offered complimentary refreshments and WiFi, but you also have a staff at your disposal that will treat you like the high-minded, cultural progressive that you are. At Lincoln, it is our pleasure to serve you, and we’re always asking ourselves how we can do it better. That’s why the third pillar of Lincoln’s approach is Personal Service.
Personal Service extends well beyond the staff. During the development of the 2015 Lincoln MKC, the designers asked “How can the car serve its owner?” One way is with the approach greeting. Carrying the key fob, when you’re within eight feet of the MKC, the car will wake up and welcome you back. The LED accent lights will come on, the door handle pockets will glow, and a large Lincoln Star welcome mat will be projected onto the ground on both sides. This greeting continues even after you’ve entered the vehicle. Once in the driver’s seat, you’ll notice that the start button is illuminated and pulsating, ambient lighting will fade on, and on Select and Reserve trims the side mirrors will unfold.
The second major way the MKC serves you is with the MyLincoln Mobile app. Clients can download this application to their smartphone and take advantage of a number of exclusive features once they have paired it with their car. It goes without saying that you’ll be able to remote start the vehicle from nearly anywhere, and you’ll be able to use GPS to locate your car if needed. You can also remote lock or unlock the vehicle and get in touch with Lincoln’s roadside assistance. Then there are features you don’t expect, like the ability to schedule engine-start times. If you want your car to be running and cooled off every day when you’re walking out of the office, you can make it so. If you want your seats pre-heated on winter mornings, just schedule the MKC to start a few minutes before you walk out the door. You can even check the vehicle’s fuel level and get alerts for tire pressure and battery charge from the mobile app. This feature is available only to clients that opt for the Reserve trim level, as it requires the use of the MKC’s embedded modem.
Other technology in the MKC is also geared to serve you. Features like an optional hands-free rear liftgate and park-out assist are class-exclusive, and mainstay safety features like blindspot monitoring, cross traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, and collision warning systems are available to keep you out of harm’s way.
