So far, the Lincoln Date Night promotion has been a rousing success. At Leith Lincoln, our guestbook has been completely booked ever since we started back in September. If you don’t remember, Date Night participants get to drive a 2015 Lincoln MKC for forty-eight hours. They’re encouraged to show it to their friends and family, and they’re given a gift card to take someone out to dinner. It’s a testament to the personal service of our brand that we give clients this opportunity, and we’re glad so many have gotten to enjoy the experience.

We were especially delighted a few weeks ago when one participant tagged us on Instagram. Emilie Carol is a professional photographer living here in Raleigh, North Carolina. She applies her talents across a range of ceremonies and occasions, capturing people at their happiest moments. As you’ll see, she also knows how to put a car in the best light. We asked Emilie if she would be willing to contribute a guest post to our blog and she was kind enough to oblige. Now you can hear about her Date Night experience in her own words.
I was so EXCITED when I checked the mail and there was an invitation for Lincoln Date Night. Naturally I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I called I realized this might be one of the coolest things I have ever been a part of. The only time I had ever been in a Lincoln was, I am sure like most people, only a limo and town car. I could hardly wait for our Lincoln Date Night to start.

I arrived at the dealership and was blown away; they were SO nice, and SO helpful. I got a full tour of the Brand New MKC, as well as a date night gift card. I had so much fun taking the car around town, picking up my friends and taking them to lunch, and going on a date with my sweetheart. I loved driving it around downtown just to scan for parallel parking spots – such a cool feature. We have two puppies who also enjoyed a little photo shoot in the car.

I love how Lincoln incorporated luxury with everyday life. I felt like the car helped me get through my day, from hanging out with friends, to sitting in the carpool line and taking the dogs to daycare. The remote start was perfect for chilly mornings, and the welcome mat was a simple, yet very cool addition to nighttime.
All in all Lincoln changed my mind, my Volvo loving’ mind. I was impressed with their attention to detail, I was impressed with their commitment to luxury, and most of all their willingness to give so generously. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Lincoln for forty-eight hours I will never forget, and a whole new perspective on what Lincoln has to offer. I know where I am going first when I am ready to buy a new car.
