And now a break from our regular programming so that we can give our whole auto group a collective pat on the back.
If you haven’t already heard, Leith Cars was voted the best “Place to Buy a New Vehicle” in Indy Week’s Best of the Triangle 2014. The competition was voted on this spring with more than 7,500 people casting ballots that covered a staggering range of categories. According to the website, it took a team of ten interns two weeks to tabulate winners and runners-up.
Check out the full list of winners on Indy Week’s website.
If looking at that list makes you hungry for some of the great food and new experiences that downtown Raleigh has to offer, you should consider signing up for the Dishcrawl that is happening next Wednesday, June 18.
Never been on a Dishcrawl before? Think about it like a bar crawl, but with food instead. The tour visits three different restaurants which are kept secret until two days prior. This is the perfect event for foodies looking for a bit of adventure or other people that share their passion for all things edible. Tickets can be purchased online.
Grinding this story down to the last bar of topicality, we want to plug one other business from Indy Week’s list. Videri Chocolate Factory was voted runner-up for the best “Place to Buy Chocolate,” and they are conveniently located across the street from our office in downtown Raleigh. It’s only going to get hotter as the summer wears on, and Videri makes the best frozen hot chocolate – yes, that’s correct – that you’ve ever tasted. It’s a bargain, too. They make and sell chocolate on-site, so be sure to ask for a sample. Visit their website for information and directions – you’ll have to go once you see the background footage.
We want to once again thank everyone who voted for Leith Cars in this year’s competition, and give a big shoutout to the staffs at all of our dealerships for making such a great impression on the people of the Triangle. Remember, we’ll always be the name you can trust.
