Let’s say you’ve recently cleaned out your car, gone through all the compartments, and cubbies and thrown away everything you thought was trash or you didn’t need. It’s only after the trash has been picked up that week that you realize you accidentally threw away your vehicle’s owner’s manual. Maybe you’re in the house and you need to look up something about your car, or you’re away on business and need to know a specification. How can you look at the owner’s manual if it’s still tucked away in your glove box? It could even be that you just want to consult a more current printing of the manual for your vehicle. What can you do?
There are many situations where you might find you need to consult the owner’s manual for your Lincoln, but you might not always have it on hand. Luckily, the bond between a Lincoln owner and their car is not limited by time or space. That’s why Lincoln makes all of its owner’s manuals available in digital format online. Today we’re going to show you how to access your digital Lincoln owner’s manual in just four easy steps.
1. Visit the Lincoln Website

You’ll start by heading to the Lincoln home page and clicking on the Support tab at the top of the page. We’ve highlighted the Support tab in the above screenshot.
2. Follow the Link to Your Owner’s Manual
Here you have two options that will take you to the same place. Click on either of the highlighted icons to proceed.
3. Look up Your Vehicle or Log In
Now you have three choices for how to look up your vehicle. In box 1, you can choose your model year, make, and model from the drop down menus and then click “Find My Vehicle.” You can see we’ve elected to look up a 2014 Lincoln MKS. You can also enter your Vehicle’s Identification Number into box 2 if you prefer to look up your vehicle that way or if you have a special edition.
The third choice is to log in to your Lincoln account by entering your User Name and Password into box 3. If you visit the Lincoln website frequently then you’ve probably already set up your account. There is a link for retrieving your information if necessary. It’s important to note that you do not need to log in to any account to consult your car’s owner’s manual. You can even access a vehicle’s owner’s manual if you don’t already own a Lincoln. They are available to everyone.
4. Download Your Digital Owner’s Manual
Now you can choose from the available resources for your designated vehicle. You can see that we’ve highlighted the Owner’s Manual printings in this screenshot as box 1, but there are a number of other documents that you can consult as well, such as the roadside assistance card, the tire warranty, and the Lincoln complimentary maintenance plan.
